Kaleb began writing Veins of Contrast two years ago, developing an imaginative world he had first created when he was younger. Although he initially had little interest in writing, encouragement from his mother helped him approach the creative process with greater freedom.
Her advice was to begin writing, follow the story, and avoid worrying about whether every reader would approve. Kaleb continued working consistently, trusted his creative voice, and shaped his early ideas into a complete dark science-fantasy novel.
